US retail sales rebounded in Sept., Oct.

US retail sales grew 0.8% in October from the previous month, beating economists’ forecasts for a 0.6% increase and marking the strongest two-month period in about two years, according to Commerce Department figures released Tuesday. September’s increase was revised upward to 1% as wage growth, low inflation and rising employment spurred consumers to spend more at stores and online, economists said.
