Demand grows for small, local shops

Consumers are doing more of their spending at small, local shops that can offer personalized service, which has proven to be a boon for small brick-and-mortar merchants. About 70% of millennials say they want to buy American-made products and 40% report a preference for shopping at local stores, said Krista Fabregas of Fit Small Business.
